Official Digg App Arrives on Android

The popular social news site Digg has launched its Android based app giving users a rich, content filled way of viewing Digg on the go. Very similar to its iPhone counterpart released a few weeks ago, you can digg up or bury stories, read the comments and view the actual article all without leaving the app.

You will get different results depending on where you click. Clicking on the digg counter takes you to the digg details and comments, clicking on the Title of the story takes you directly to the article and clicking on the arrow on the right produces the details of the story without leaving the list.

Still missing a few features the from the iPhone version that will probably be included in future releases, the Digg app is a welcomed and great addition to the fast growing Android Market. It is available now and its free.
